Numbing — What is it and how does it work?

Video Transcript: – Hi, my name is Daniela and I am a European Master Artist. Today, I want to explain to you how does numbing work. I only use high quality topical anesthetics. My products are always fresh and new. A topical anesthetic reversibly blocks our nerve conducting at the site of administration, producing a loss of sensation in that area. I leave the numbing on for a good 25 minutes to insure maximal comfort. I puncture the skin carefully with my microblade or my mechanical needle, opening up the skin, before applying another layer of topical anesthetic. This will lead to an extensive numbing effect as the skin is now open and the numbing can penetrate deeper. This will insure an almost pain-free treatment. This is how numbing works.
